INTRODUCTION :
Couplings are widely used in industry for
transmission of torque, speed and motion from one shaft to
the other. Any misalignment in two shafts brings loss of performance
in terms of loss of power, damage of shafts and bearings,
generation of heat and noise and ultimately damaging of equipment.
The Tachometric Controls flexible shaft couplings are being
used to overcome misalignments in the two shafts and to offer
transfer of precise motion from one shaft to other. Applications
where transmition of Precision Digital / Analog information
+ torque between shafts is required these are to be used.
Tachometric Controls flexible couplings transmit information
between two shafts precisely besides torque. These are flexible
in lateral and angular position movement but torsionally stiff
in rotary motion.
The shaft couplings Series are AS i.e. Aluminum Screw type
And AF i.e. Aluminum Flange type version.
We offer Helical / Spiral cut couplings which are comparatively
more flexible in axial and angular movements as compared to
our slit cut versions which are torsionally rigid.
